A suit jacket was often the GO TO jacket for outdoor activity centuries ago and give that more sporty look, which is exactly how they got their namesake.
A SUIT JACKET is the most prestigious of the three. This jacket is not meant to be worn casually or outside but in a professional or special occasion setting. Typically a suit jacket is made out of finer materials and is fitted.
