Closing Of Business Announcement Letter
Dear Customers, Consignors, our Loyal Friends,
We regret to inform you that FlairTRADE Consignment has decided to close our business. Beginning Monday August 29th, 2022, we will begin a liquidation sale of our on-hand inventory. Our last day of business will be dictated by how long this process takes and still makes sense to remain operational. Effective immediately we will no longer be taking any new consignment items and current appointments will be cancelled.
The decision to close this business was not easy. We had placed our business up for sale in August of 2021, a full year ago with the intentions to fully retire. In May 2022 we had a buyer that was interested in our business and began their due diligence. In July 2022 our landlord notified us that they were not going to renew our building lease, which ends October 31st. We, along with the potential buyer, searched for a new location from North Charlotte to Mooresville. A few potential locations were identified, but only one that would meet the needs of the business. This past Sunday that buyer was informed that the space they had been actively engaged in leasing was leased to another party. This left us limited time to communicate with our associates, liquidate our inventory, and clean out our store. Also, with clear conscience, could not continue to take our consignors item knowing the store would no longer be moving.
Over the years, I, Jennifer Harrison have enjoyed the deep relationships built with our customers, consignors, and associates.
I would like to thank all of you that I have done business with over these many years. I would especially like to thank the employees of FlairTRADE. We could not have been as successful as it was without your support and loyalty. Thank you for being with our company in all its ups and downs.
